About Me

I’m Maria Lizarraga, an Austin-based advertising student focused on art direction and visual storytelling. I’m drawn to ideas where concept and aesthetics work together, where every visual choice feels intentional, thoughtful, and clear.

What drives my work is the challenge of translating abstract ideas into images that people can immediately feel and understand. I’m especially interested in how composition, tone, and narrative shape perception, and how small visual decisions can completely change the way a story is received.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I enjoy adapting ideas across languages while preserving their meaning and emotional impact. Whether working on campaigns or visual studies, I approach each project with a focus on clarity, craft, and concept-led thinking.
