Fusebox Festival —
“If You Know, You Know"
Audience & Competitive Research, Creative Strategy, Campaign Concept.
5-Person Team
Fusebox has the work, the mission, and the artistic credibility.
What it doesn't have is visibility. People who discover it love it, they call it eccentric, unexpected, brilliantly weird, but it lives inside a small circle of artists and culture-seekers and hasn't broken into the broader city's consciousness.
Fusebox doesn't need to reinvent its art. It needs to amplify its reach.
We built the strategy around two audiences: the culture chaser who wants to feel like she's in on something exclusive, and the tastemaker who treats Fusebox as a creative space rather than just an event. Both respond to the same instinct, so instead of explaining Fusebox to people, we leaned into the fact that it doesn't explain itself. If you know, you know.
Fusebox isn't loud. It doesn't beg for attention. It exists like a secret you notice only if you're tuned in.
Presented directly to the client, alongside a media plan spanning social-first storytelling, an on-campus pop-up, and an immersive activation space built around Austin's own creative community.
